The 2408 release of My Home in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition brings many new features and several UX enhancements that will improve your overall experience with My Home.

My Home gives you access to your business insights, helps you manage your tasks and situations and allows you to manage your favorite pages and apps for a fast and efficient support of your daily business activities.

In the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2408 release My Home now offers an intelligent home page experience. Instead of a greeting new business users with a blank My Home page, the My Home now recommends applications and insights cards that would be of use to the business user. There are many factors that define these recommendations, including the usage of an app, a business user’s geography, a business user’s authorizations and the validity of an application. These recommendations guide business users on how to personalize their home page. Business users can add recommended applications to their app favorites helping them set up their My Home quickly which in return helps them to work more efficiently.  My Home also now intelligently generates Insight cards based on these recommendations and pre-delivers them for new business users. Business users can specify if the recommended applications are not relevant to them, and they can also delete the suggested Insight cards.

To ensure that all business users are up to date with SAP S/4HANA Cloud system news, the SAP S/4HANA system news feed is now enabled by default with data from the Release Assessment and Scope Dependency (RASD) 2.0 Tool. It is an add on tool for SAP S/4HANA Cloud customers, which provides a personalized view of SAP’s What’s New Viewer and much more. Administrators or key users no longer have to manually update the system news, thus ensuring all business users are updated with the latest system news.

One of the major advantages of the My Home is that it enables you to do your job with speed and agility. This is even more so now with this new release. We now show more relevant workflow information on the To Do tasks and allow in-place actions for your daily tasks. The new feature allows you to process your To Do tasks more efficiently without having to leave My Home to find more information or take action, saving you time.

And that’s not all, business users can now access both Standard and Extended framework-based situations in the situations tab.

Last but not least, business users can now reorder their Insight tiles and cards via drag and drop directly on the My Home page. Reordering pages, apps and insights is now consistent throughout the new My Home.
