Innovations of My Home in S/4 HANA Cloud 2308 at a glance

Navigation

My Home settings are now available in each section drop down menu, in addition to the original location in the User profile menu.

The section expansion has been redesigned for a more intuitive approach. You can now expand the To Dos and Insights sections by using the “Show More”/ “Show Less” menu. Whether you are expanding or collapsing a section, the focus will always stay on that section. If you are refreshing the page, the state of the section will automatically go back to a collapsed view.

To Dos section

We added a time stamp in the To Dos section to check when your data were last refreshed and give you the option to manually refresh them to ensure you are seeing the most up to date information.

Custom News

One of the key advantages of My Home is the ability to personalize the page and with the 2308 release, you can now personalize the system news feed based on your chosen line of business.

The administrator can generate an Excel file containing the system news feed from the Release Assessment and Scope Dependency ( RASD ) tool and can then upload it in My Home by using Adapt UI in the User Profile menu.

This custom news feed will then be visible to users, and they’ll be able to decide which part of it they want to see, using the "Manage News" menu and also opt to see news that require preparation.

Click on a news page in the carrousel to get the full content of that page and even access links to more information.

To be able to better organize your content, you can now create groups of favorite apps.

You can create a group by directly dragging and dropping an App on top of another one, by using the “Create Group” menu on the right of the screen, or by using the 3 dots menu directly from an App displayed in your Favorites.

You’ll be invited to enter the name of your group, to pick a color for its icon and then to select the applications that will be part of this group.

The number of applications contained in a group is indicated in the group icon.

Add Apps to the group

Once a group has been created, you can rename it, change its color, remove its apps or even completely delete it.

Different actions to perform on a group

If you choose to remove all apps from a group, they will appear back in your Favorites Apps and the group will be deleted.

If you choose to delete a group, you will be offered to either Delete all the apps from the group or to Move the apps back to the Favorites.

Within a group, you can rearrange the apps, select their color, remove apps from My Home or just remove them from the group.
