Prices that appear in sales or purchasing documents are usually the result of complex calculations and yet, customers may doubt price of certain item or prices given by the vendor may raise question marks on your side.

To put prices that appear in a given document in context, SAP Business One enables you to retrieve in a click the “Last Prices Report”:

You can generate the report from within purchase or sales documents – just press “CTRL + TAB” from within a price field, e.g. Unit Price, or choose the “Last Prices” option from the context menu.

The report, listing by default the last 10 prices of the given item for the business partner in the document appears. You can change various parameters such as the documents to be covered, the number of last prices to be displayed, whether to consider special prices and much more.

Available in SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA and SAP Business One. This tip and all the other tips are available on the Tip of the week community page. You can also visit the Implementation Arena for useful implementation tips.
