It's already "Q4" and this is the last update of the series for this year.
Many of you have been following this product update series, and providing us with valuable feedback, thanks a lot. As a response to your feedback, we have launched a complementary knowledage sharing channel with our new podcast "Inside S/4HANA" to share not only product updates but projects insights as well.
Let me give you some insights on the intelligent ERP capabilities of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1911.
I’d like to star this update again with intelligent Robotic Process Automation, short IRPA. Intelligent Robotic Process Automation helps accelerate the digital transformation of business processes by automatically replicating tedious, repetitive actions. SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation is a complete automation suite where software robots are designed to mimic humans by replacing manual clicks. This suite is fully enabling RPA in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, with dedicated "scope items" or business processes, test scripts and more.
Check the SAP Best Practice Explorer to get an overview of the latest iRPA scenarios for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Note that we update those on a quarterly basis.
Now going to the heart of the ERP, I would like to showcase this quarter an innovation in Supply Chain leveraging the predictive analytics integrator (PAI). The PAI framework is used to predict slow or non-moving materials in Inventory Management. In the 1905 release we already shipped the “Slow or Non-Moving Materials app” to monitor and make time-dependent investigations of the slow or non-moving materials in your stock. With the 1911update, we have introduced a detailed page that provides additional insights on the future development of a material in the product life cycle, using predictive analytics. Various charts provide you with information from different perspectives for a possible future development of your key figures like Slow Moving Indicator, stock quantity, and stock consumption. It is even possible to receive the forecast information for the Predicted Slow-Moving Indicator using the Predictive Analytics Model.
As next I’d like to elude on the capabilities of SAP CoPilot and SAP Conversational AI – formerly Recast.ai - merged together with an ambitious roadmap. In 2020 we will launch the “new version” of SAP CoPilot – SAP’s Digital Assistant. It will be based on SAP Conversational AI, and include the best of both. The Digital Assistant will include key functionalities from CoPilot, like in-context chat, while providing the benefits of Conversational AI as an end-to-end bot building platform. All this will come with an improved User Experience.
