When your customer returns the goods to the store and the return and refund clerk can properly dispose the returned goods immediately base on manually inspection result.
From CE2105, two more follow up activities enabled on Manage Customer Returns app. One follow-up activity is ‘Immediately Move to Free Available Stock (0002)’. Another follow-up activity is ‘Immediately Move to Scrap (0003)’. When you choose these two types, ‘Product Received’ flag is marked by default and Inspection code is mandatory input.
Follow Up Activities
Follow-up Activity 0002 – Immediately Move to Free Available Stock
Use case: customer bought wrong product or too much product, they return the product with intact package. After lean inspect by return and refund clerk, he/she can decide to move the material to un-restricted stock immediately.
If return refund clerk chooses this follow-up activity and release the customer return, relevant logistic follow up documents will be created automatically, goods movement type = ‘GD returns unrest. (653)’ and stock type is ‘Unrestricted-Use’, then logistic status in customer return item is ‘Completed’.

Follow-up Activity 0003 – Immediately Move to Scrap
Use case: customer return the damaged product. After lean inspect by return and refund clerk, he/she can decide to move the material to scrap immediately.
If return refund clerk chooses this follow-up activity and release the customer return, relevant logistic follow up documents will be created automatically, the goods movement type is from ‘GD returns blocked (657)’ to ‘GI scrapping blocked (555)’, then logistic status in customer return item is ‘Completed’.
