Hi SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Community,  

In this blog post, I will summarize the release highlights of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2402, focusing on HR Connectivity. 

 

Display of worker extensibility fields 

With the previous release, we launched the customization option for the workforce person object that enables you to extend the profile information of workforce persons, e.g. employees and contingent workers with custom field in the integration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (see more information Roadmap 2308).  

With this extension of the personal information tab in the worker overview, you can configure the custom fields. By extending the profile information of employees and contingent workers with custom fields in the integration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, it is now possible to add custom information such as visa eligibility or vaccination status. The information will be displayed in the worker overview app. This innovation simplifies the access to profile data, by adding non-standard fields into the replication of workforce data you can enhance your end-to-end processes. Please note, that this replication is only available with Master Data Integration

The SAP Help Portal: Extensibility in Worker Overview offers you detailed information about the “Worker Overview” app.

Local maintenance of worker address and payment information  

We increase the efficiency of the local maintenance of worker address and payment information by enabling to create, correct and delete payment information through the Payment Information tab from the Work Agreement of the worker. 

  • Maintaining private addresses and payment information is now simplified and streamlined by omitting the need to switch to different roles and apps to maintain this data. 
  • One app to maintain all worker related data. 
  • Simplified process for IBAN use case: If IBAN is used, the values for the bank-related fields are derived from the IBAN.
