with summer coming to an end, we need some good news to lift our spirits. So our new release 3.0 FP01 of PLM System Integration for SAP S/4HANA comes just at the right time!

Integration of Multiple External PLM Systems

PLM system integration now supports the connection of multiple external PLM systems with your SAP S/4HANA system (N:1). For each external system, you can maintain deviating configurations, based on the logical instance and the application.

So no matter what scenarios you want to set up, PLM system integration is here to support your individual business requirements.

Expand Your Range

As announced earlier this year, one big focus topic has been to expand the range of external PLM systems you can connect to your SAP system using PLM system integration. To this end, we collaborated with experienced development partners to add new PLM add-ons to our product family. Together with PLM system integration, these add-on offer you tailor-made integration capabilities via the following integration products:

Use this add-on to integrate SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP ERP with PTC Windchill, a product lifecycle management (PLM) software that helps manage product data and processes throughout the product development lifecycle. Manage effectivity and quality in a reliable and secure way.

PLM system integration, add-on for 3DEXPERIENCE

The second of our new add-ons integrates SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP ERP with Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, a product lifecycle management (PLM) software that enables users to develop and validate product designs in a collaborative environment, and to create and visualize virtual twins of products, processes, and operations. Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE offers a central platform that connects people and their ideas with data to create innovative products and services.

What Else is New in PLM system integration for SAP S/4HANA?

Besides the innovations above, we further improved on your trusted PLMSI add-on to deliver you a range of new functions. Enjoy!

New Monitoring Capabilities Thanks to the PLMSI Workbench

The PLMSI Workbench is a reporting tool that enables power users and administrators to monitor, maintain, and modify PLMSI objects.

Search for errors, warnings, and other message types of log and status messages for inbound and outbound data transfer.
Take action to fix issues directly from the tool.

Support of Additional Material Master Views

As of this new release, you can define additional material master views, for example, for Accounting or Costing, leveraging BRF+.

Practice advanced field control to ensure that you only transfer the business data that you really need.
Improve master data quality and enhance transparency between the engineering department and the extended supply chain.

Historically End the Validity of Variant Option Rule Assignments

You can remove variant option rules historically as part of a variant configuration (VC) model transfer.

Handle the assignment of a procedure or a constraint with the related change number.
Improve data quality and consistency across different domains.

Receive Table-Like Structures for Extensibility Fields

You can now transfer table-like structures for extension fields of certain business objects, to map extension fields that have the same key but different subkeys.

Limit data transfer to the business data you really require.
Transfer the right semantic information for state-of-the-art data quality.
