Sine the storage location MRP indicator is missing from material master on SAP S/4 HANA systems. This blog will introduce how to exclude storage location during MRP run in SAP S/4 HANA Cloud system.
In SAP S/4HANA system MRP only plans on plant and MRP area level. You can use MRP area as alternative, it covers same business requirements. MRP area with MRP type 'ND' (no MRP) can be used instead of storage location excluded from MRP.
Please follow the steps below to achieve this.
1.Create MRP Area. Manage your solution: SSCUI:103068
2.Maintain a MRP area, make sure the MRP Area Type is 02.
3.Assign a storage location to the MRP Area in step 2. This storage location will exclude from MRP.
4. In material master MRP View 1, select MRP type:ND. and maintain the MRP area in step 2.

As a conclusion, this material will exclude the storage location which maintain in that MRP area during MRP run.
