Welcome to my Discrete Industries in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208 blog post. There were many highlights developed again! I chose my two favorite ones. Watch them in my Discrete Industries 2208 SAP S/4HANA Cloud highlight video:
For those who want to know more - here are more details coming!
Process Production Versions
My first favorite is the new SAP Fiori app Process Production Versions. Customers can view production version proposals. These proposals are generated whenever a new task list or Bill of Material is created; or when an existing task list is changed with new material assignments. Additionally, customers can view, edit, and create production versions. Along with that, a mass lock, unlock, delete and consistency check is available. The new app supports desktop, tablets and smartphones.

Manage Impact Analysis Models
The second innovation that I am excited to share is the SAP Fiori app Manage Impact Analysis Models. Now, this is all about Product Lifecycle Management. With this app, customers can create impact analysis scenarios such as change records. Different business objects with different rules can also be visualized. And with this visualization, customers can quickly determine if a change has impact or not in the change evaluation. Lastly, this app also supports desktop, tablet, and smartphones.

Figure 2: Demo Manage Impact Analysis
In the demo the header of the graph shows the total number of objects identified in the graph. The objects which meet the rule conditions are shown with Rule Simulation Status Successful. You can easily identify them with the red color of the node and green color of the connection. Those objects which were subjected to the rule; however, did not meet the rule criteria are shown with the Rule Simulation Status Violated and red color for their connections. The objects which are not subjected to any rule assignments are shown with the status Not Applicable and have default grey color for their connections.
That’s it for now - Check out the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Community. Share your experience and tell us about your projects. Happy to hear from you and take care!
