Governments continuously issue laws that impact businesses across the globe. SAP enables enterprises to be ready globally to scale their business across geographies in line with local regulations. With SAP localized software solutions, enterprises are enabled to adhere to local regulations in the countries they operate.

In early April, SAP hosted the SAP India Localization Meet-up 2023, a virtual event that showcased SAP’s localized solutions available for India.

SAP experts were able to provide over 300 attendees with a breakdown of legal regulations in India, a walkthrough of India localized capabilities, and a roadmap overview of localized solutions available and planned to be released in the future.

Thank you to all customers and partners who attended the event and turned it into a great opportunity to share knowledge and best practices.

Our team recently attended the S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition: Localization and Extensibility Workshop in Dubai.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with hands-on experience in localizing and extending the SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution to meet specific business needs.

During the workshop, we learned about the various localization features available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, such as country-specific legal requirements, tax codes, and language support. We also gained insights into how to extend the solution using the SAP Cloud Platform, which enables developers to create custom applications and integrate them with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

The workshop was structured in a way that allowed us to apply our newly acquired knowledge to real-world scenarios. We were given practical exercises to complete, which helped us to understand the concepts better. The instructors were knowledgeable and was able to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the second-day quiz, which required participants to apply their knowledge to solve a real-world business problem. The challenge was designed to test our understanding of the concepts covered in the workshop and to encourage us to think creatively about how to apply them to solve business challenges. I am proud to say that our Technical Lead Ginu Francis won the challenge, which was a testament to the quality of the training we received.

Overall, the workshop was a valuable experience for our team. We gained a deeper understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, localization, and extensibility. We also learned how to apply this knowledge to solve real-world business problems, which will undoubtedly benefit Altivate with our clients in the future.
