SAP customers have been steadily moving from legacy stacks to SAP S/4HANA Cloud to leverage the latest innovations in user experience, business processes, agility, and total cost of ownership. As SAP continues to support its customers in this transformation journey, it is also investing in empowering its partners to contribute to this effort.
Recently, on April 21st, 2023, SAP completed a highly successful two-day webinar on the topic of Custom ABAP Code Migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The webinar was prepared and presented by a team of experts from the ABAP Platform Product Management, Cloud Success Services, and Partner Solution Adoption teams. These experts included Olga, Carine, Paolo, and Alessandro.
The webinar attracted a large audience of over 200 attendees each day who appreciated the content and had the opportunity to ask and clarify multiple questions. The webinar's agenda covered critical topics related to custom ABAP code migration, including the challenges and best practices involved in the migration process. The attendees were also shown how to leverage the latest tools and technologies provided by SAP to ease the migration process, keep the digital core clean and maximize the benefits of SAP S/4HANA Cloud. They were also introduced to ABAP Cloud - the development model for building cloud-ready business apps, services and extensions in the cloud and on-premises - and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
Given the success of this session, the team responsible for the webinar is looking forward to enhancing it further and running it again later this year. SAP's commitment to enabling its partners to contribute to the success of its customers' transformation journeys is a testament to the company's dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.
