When sales order request data is incomplete, you may want to open the original purchase order file and check purchasing details. To do this, you can open a side-by-side view which displays file contents alongside the sales order request. The parallel view allows you to easily check and revise sales order request data in light of purchasing details.
Step-by-Step Guide
In the
Create Sales Orders - Automatic Extraction app, open the object page of a sales order request. Choose
View File.

The purchase order file contents are displayed in an embedded pane. You can see all extracted data (highlighted by default) at a glance.
- You can compare the extracted header data with the header data of the sales order request.

- You can also conveniently compare the extracted item data with the sales order request items.

There are two ways of showing extracted fields.
- You can hover over a highlighted area to show an extracted field.

- You can click the eye icon to show all extracted fields.

You can also zoom in and zoon out to get a better file view, or jump to a particular page.
