Introduction

In this short blog post we will take a look, how we can activate standard scope item in CBC, if the main scope definition phase was already finished.

Process of scope extension

Click "Initiate Change" button:

Select 1st option and click "Save" button:

All activities are now reopened to include your additional scope. Open "Define Scope" activity:

Search for the Scope Item you would like to activate and click "Add":

Important remark: license dependent and non-standard scenarios cannot be added to scope directly by the customer. They need to be requested via ticket. Once added to scope by the support team, they will appear as added to scope in the Scoping App and you can manage country dependent scoping at their level also.

Non-standard and license dependent scenarios appear as locked and on hover over information is provided on how to add them to scope.

Now click "Complete Activity":

You will be reverted to the previous screen. Select here "Manage" for "Request SAP S/4HANA Cloud License-Dependent and Non-Standard Scenarios via Ticket":

Set "Completed" status for it:

Click "Manage" for "Confirm Scoping is Completed" activity:

Confirm completed milestone:

It will take some time for the activity to be completed:

Once it is done, we can test activated Scope Item via corresponding app in S/4HANA Cloud.
