hello to everyone, I've been BIF'd a couple of times now by Blog It Forward - Lukas Weigelt  (travel management guru!) and ian.kehoe and eoin.hurley from the Product Support SD team so finally taking the plunge.

Intro:

I'm located in the SAP Dublin office and working for SAP 10 years now, I'm 36 and originally from Twickenham in the UK (home of the rugby!) and living in Ireland nearly 19 years

In a former life I was a travel agent for 10 years and made my way full circle into working with the HCM product support team in Travel Management having accidentally fallen somehow into IT and since April this year have been the Support Team Manager for SD

I live in County Meath near Trim which for any movie buffs is home to Trim Castle also seen in Braveheart, its a beautiful part of the world and best of both worlds as 35 min drive from the office yet far enough out to feel like you are the only one out there.

So for the Blog it Forward Questions

  • Which 5 things do you absolutely want to achieve in life? (Not necessarily in this order!!)

    1. To see the Northern Lights

2.  To own a house or an apartment by the sea and start and end my days walking along the beach

Here would do - this is Greystones in County Dublin and it is stunning

3.  To FINALLY finish my business management degree (2015!) and graduate
4.  To travel the west coast from LA via Vegas to San Francisco and see Monteray and Carmel

5 . Rest to be decided.

  • If you were not in your current position, what/where would you be and why?

I'd have studied psychology and done something around that, love observing people and motivation and working out what makes people tickIf you could be a super hero (or are in your spare time) who would you be?

Wonder woman  - purely for the figure

Anyway, that's about it for me and enjoyed writing this BIF - nice change from approving shift requests!

I'd like to BIF to the following people

stephen.brennan
annmarie.cahill

mercedes.soler

gerard.magorrian

noel.connolly

miguel.alonso2

catherine.mckenna

And I'm going to rob Ian's questions with one slight change:

  • Share a fun fact/story about yourself that people don't know

  • What is your biggest achievement in life?

  • If you were not in your current position, what/where would you be and why?

  • If you could be a super hero (or are in your spare time) who would you be?

Please remember to follow the Blog It Forward Chain in order to be updated when the people you "Blog It Forward" to post the links to their "Blog It Forward" blogs.

Welcome,

Lucky girl !  I wish I'll come to see Ireland one day. So many old castles, ... - very interesting.

Hi Sally,

Your pictures (particularly of your son when he was a wee one) make me really want to come to Ireland!  I too would love to see the Northern lights!

Maybe someday I could stop by Ireland, pick you up, and we could go in our invisible plane to see them.   With lots of music along the way.

Welcome to the #bif family!
Cheers,
Sue

Great BIF! Makes me want to come and see Ireland.

I was there once a long time ago but I don't think I saw any of the good bits you are describing.

cheers

Paul Bakker, you have to come back! and Susan Keohan,  there is a saying that Ireland is the best little country in the world - if only you could put a roof on it! Its even beautiful in the rain

Hey Sally,

Yay! Great to see you (finally ;P) took up the BIF challenge.

I never watch TV, its music all the way for me!

+1, though Jimmy Buffet isn't really my genre. I'm more into flashy modern jazz and stuff like that ^^

Cheers, Lukas

Jazz is cool too Lukas, that just happened to be a summer record on the turntable from the very nice summer we had here in Ireland this year
