Our story begins on account of traditional retail-related issues and planogram compliance pain points. Manufacturers have to process more than 80.000 images daily. Every day, a salesman of merchandiser visits about 30 outlets and captures two images per outlet on average. Right now, the manufacturer needs roughly 60 employees working in a department to process these images every single day.
With the power of AI - Computer Vision, it removed the pain point problem as above so the manufacturers can optimize operating costs and prioritize their capital investment into R&D and market development. This method helps sales and merchandising compliance improve, save operating costs of audit teams, and accelerate the duration of incentive payment to outlet owners.
To provide manufacturers the most effective tool to improve sales & merchandising compliance, increase the numeric accuracy distribution, and manage POSM investment effectively and accurately.
Solution Use Case
This solution targets traditional outlets where our clients can trade marketing programs with display requirements such as display programs, accumulative programs effectively, and improve engagement with outlet owners through display programs.
This useful solution supports outlet owners to register and collect rewards easier.
Persona Identified
Pain point #1: As an auditor, it's frustrating and tedious for me to evaluate roughly 800 images all day. My responsibility is checking merchandise compliance from sales clerks and verify their work obligations per day; therefore, I am struggling to concentrate on auditing each image.
Pain point #2: As a salesman or merchandiser, I regularly find my works fail to be recognized. After receiving the evaluated result from audit teams, I discovered that the captured images did not qualify. As it turns out, I have to come back to my customers and retake photos.
Pain point #3: As an audit lead, I usually confront a lot of waiting-for-review images by the end of the day. It's a challenging task for me to keep the high quality of my audit teams with high performance permanently. At the same time, there are some other work obligations I have to complete in a day, such as reporting, supporting sales team, and subordinates.
Pain point #4: As a trade marketer, I usually confront with the trust as well as the quality of reporting and numeric distribution statistics because the evaluation results are almost influenced by the consistency, and emotion of humans. Furthermore, the limitation of humans also affects to increasing the number of images need to evaluate.
