Introduction

The simplification item catalog provides customers all relevant changes that might have an impact when converting from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA.

Work with the simplification item catalog

You can access the simplification item catalog via this link: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#sic

Choose the target release / product version.

You will get a list of all the simplification items.

Go to the selection "Target Release", there you will see some Relevance Checks and SAP Notes with further informations about the simplification item.

SAP Note with further information

You can use more filters to view only the for your solution relevant simplification items. For example use the "Category" to see which will be the "Change of existing funcionality".

It is also possible to download the list as .zip file.

Further use of the simplification items

If you want to handle the simplification items in a project, you can use them together with the SAP Readyness Check and import them into SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager and create there as follow-up requirements, work packages or user stories.

Conclusion

The simplification item catalog is easy to use and gives you an overview of all simplification items for a specific release / solution. It is an activity that you perform at the start of every SAP S/4HANA project.
