Object Overview in COOIS

INTRODUCTION

In this blog post you will learn about customized layout in COOIS.

COOIS is a report which display information from planned order/production order, example : order header, documented goods movement, confirmation, etc.

The weakness from COOIS report is we just get information based on our pick category.If we pick " Documented Goods Movement", we just get information related goods movement from production order. We can't get information related confirmation or order headers.

Don't worry about the weakness. SAP have a function called  "Object Overview"

We can use " Object Overview" to make customized layout from COOIS.



 

MAIN 

If we want to make customized layout from order header,documented goods movement and confirmation in same screen, we can follow these steps =

1. Choose configuration menu  “ Define Profiles for ALV-Layout-Based Object Overview” or tcode COISN



 

2.Create and save new Overall Profile which contains : order header, confirmation dan goods movement.

Example  :

Order header for item no 1

Documented Goods for item no  2

Confirmation item no  3

 



 



 

3.In COOIS select "Object Overview" and choose profile with overall profile name which created before.



 

4.After execute COOIS, order header, documented goods movement and confirmation information will be displayed in same screen with sequence.

 



 

CONCLUSION

We can make customized layout in COOIS report with "Object Overview".

With customize layout in COOIS, user in production especially PPIC can check production order data efficiently
