
The first time you launch your SAP S/4HANA Cloud system, you might feel overwhelmed with the paradigm shift to SAP Fiori which has been implemented in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Typically, one of the first hurdles you will be facing when you are starting your SAP S/4HANA Cloud journey, will be finding the adequate equivalent SAP Fiori app in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system to the classic t-code you’ve been using in your onPremise system. In this blog series, we will see two things: first, how to identify the equivalent application (Part 1). Second, I will show you how to search for applications in your SAP S/4HANA Cloud system by just using the T-Code (Part 2).
The starting point for your search is the SAP Fiori apps reference library which is a comprehensive library of all relevant SAP content for the SAP Fiori launchpad. The SAP Fiori apps reference library provides the following information:
We will use the keyword search in the SAP Fiori apps reference library which is a quick and easy way to find apps for a specific purpose. The keyword search not only includes the names of apps, but also their descriptions and technical metadata, such as the name of OData services or SAP GUI transaction codes. For example, if you search for XD01, you get all apps related to transaction code XD01.
