With the latest feature delivery (FD2) for SAP Central Business Configuration, exciting new features are available. This blog post will provide you with a comprehensive overview of these features.
Support of Foreign Plants
In the Set Up Organizational Structure app, it’s now possible to create a plant or shipping point in a country or region different from that of the company code, even when the country or region is outside your scope. As a prerequisite, you need to select scenario 5RP (Do you run business in a foreign country?) during scoping, and the foreign plant feature must be available for the foreign country or region where you run business. This allows you to manage and operate supply chain processes abroad efficiently.

UX Enhancements for the Initiate Change Process
The Edit functionality has replaced the Initiate Change functionality and has been integrated into the respective apps. To make changes now, you simply choose Edit within the Scope, Organizational Structure, and Configuration apps. This update makes it more intuitive to make additions to previously completed activities.

Harmonized Terminology
We've harmonized the terminology of cloud landscape information to enhance the user experience. This applies to both the Assign Deployment Target dialog box and the Deployment Target app. We’ve renamed the following elements:
Furthermore, we’ve modified some activity names in the navigation pane for improved readability:
