With the latest feature delivery (FD1) for SAP Central Business Configuration, an exciting new feature is available. This blog post will provide you with a comprehensive overview of this new feature.

Message Banner for Better Clarity

In Business Processes Configuration, whenever configuration activities can't be performed, a new message banner is displayed, informing you about it and explaining you why that is.

Configuration activities may be temporarily unavailable due to one of the following reasons:

  • Scoping in progress (scope extension)
  • Organizational structure in progress (organizational structure extension)
  • Update / upgrade in progress
  • Deployment / activation in progress

With the new message banner, it should be clearer why configuration activities may not be worked upon at a given point in time and what you need to do to be able to access them.
