Hi, community!
The Brazilian tax authority, SEFAZ, has recently issued a technical note introducing the Simplified CT-e. This new layout, while still using model 57, is designed to streamline B2C and retail processes.
When to Use the Simplified CT-e
The Simplified CT-e comes into play when there are multiple goods senders or destinations, but the service taker and type of operation remain the same. It's important to note that the same vehicle and trip must be used for all transports.
Changes in the XML Layout
The tpCTe field now has two new values: Simplified CT-e and Simplified CT-e Replacement.
System Updates
These changes are reflected in your system with new domain values added to CT-e Type Field in the Nota Fiscal type (J_1BAA) Table. However, the values in the Domain are not the same in XML. This mapping is handled in CT-e routines where they match the code expected by Sefaz, so new values are not created as 4 and 5, but as P and R instead.
