SAP User Feedback Day 2025 embodied our commitment to listen, learn, and collaboratively shape a future where AI plays a pivotal role in redefining work processes.
AI: The Driving Force Behind Innovation
In today’s fast-paced world, AI is revolutionizing the way we operate—transforming learned patterns and optimizing workflows while empowering humans as the ultimate decision-makers. SAP User Feedback Day embraced this theme, inviting customers and end users to engage in AI-focused dialogues and understand its impact on real-world applications within our products.
On June 17 + 18, 2025, in Walldorf, Germany, SAP brought together end users from seven European customers to explore the transformative power of AI in industries ranging from Automotive to Life Sciences and Private Equity. Our focus was on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, showcasing diverse use cases powered by AI:
- Fiori First: Manage Sales Documents
- Batch Release Hub Digital Assistant
- Joule as a Project Assistant (for Non-Professional Services industry)
- AI-driven resilient supply chain (IBP)
- Production Order Release Agent
- AI Error Resolution
Throughout the six specialized use cases and a total of 15 hours of user research being conducted in just the first day, users and SAP experts delved into AI-powered scenarios highlighting AI's role in enhancing productivity and decision-making processes while ensuring human oversight. Employing diverse methods like interviews, usability testing, and moderated discussions, the business users were able to explore how AI can support them in their everyday tasks and provide meaningful feedback crucial for future product iterations.
In addition to the User Research, business users had the opportunity to explore six booths to dive deeper into what AI can do for them and how their feedback shapes SAP’s products.
Building a Shared Vision for the Future
SAP’s objective remains the same: empower users with efficient AI tools that enrich their experience and facilitate success. The insights gathered directly influence the alignment of our products with evolving expectations. Engaging face-to-face with end users is an invaluable experience, reflecting our collective journey to tackle today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s solutions. The customers and their end users explored AI's future potential through innovation workshops on the second day of the event, igniting anticipation for forthcoming developments.
The first workshop, "Shape the Next SAP Experience with GenUI," invited key users and business process experts to delve into the next generation of SAP experiences. Participants explored challenges and opportunities within SAP products, offering valuable feedback on GenUI's potential impacts on their roles and organizations. Engaging in brainstorming, foresight exercises, and collaborative discussions, attendees contributed to defining the future of SAP's user experiences.
The second workshop, "Co-creating the Future with AI: AI in Your Company," provided IT experts, in-house consultants, and business process specialists a platform to explore AI's transformative potential in their businesses. This interactive session encouraged participants to share their current AI experiences and identify key opportunities where AI could address pressing challenges. Through collaborative brainstorming, attendees envisioned future states and crafted a "vision journey," discussing actionable steps needed to prepare for this AI-driven future. Both workshops were instrumental in harnessing collective intelligence to drive innovation and enhance user experiences.
Listening and collaborating with our users, we gained many invaluable insights on which we now can start to act. SAP User Feedback Day once again proved our commitment to customers is never fleeting—we pledge ongoing engagement to translate feedback into actionable improvements. The insights drive tangible benefits, refining our products to meet and exceed user aspirations.
