SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition has taken a step forward by introducing support for the latest TLS 1.3 protocol with 2402. This is not one of the fancy shiny feature you will see on keynotes. Instead, it's all about compatibility and keeping up with the times.
The best part? Customers don't need to change anything as this change is delivered and activated automatically or all SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems. It will probably go unnoticed for most users and many admins that in the background SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is ready to offer TLS 1.3, while still maintaining support for the proven TLS 1.2. For those forward-thinking TLS clients who speak the same language, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is ready and will negotiate TLS1.3 with the TLS client.
