September marks the start of autumn, which means back to school for our kids and conference season for us. Both are focused on learning new things, which is so important in our industry where technology changes so quickly.

Some events to look for include Devtoberfest, SAP TechEd, and the next SAP Fiori Innovation Day in Heidelberg.

Devtoberfest starts September 23

Devtoberfest aims to capture the experience of live pre-conference events, like SAP InnoJam of years’ past. It officially kicks off the SAP TechEd season. Devtoberfest takes some of the best aspects of the traditional hackathon type event, such as learning by building something, but opens the experience to the entire community and spreads across multiple weeks to better accommodate everyone’s busy schedules.
