Compatibility Packs in SAP S/4HANA: The Way Forward
If you are live on SAP S/4HANA or SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and using classic standard functionality such as LE-WM Basic Warehousing or FI-TV Travel and Expense, then you are probably already aware of compatibility packs. SAP S/4HANA compatibility packs are temporary use rights to run certain classic SAP ERP solutions in SAP S/4HANA. The use of these compatibility packs will expire at the end of 2025, so it is important to start planning for the transition now. This involves evaluating your current usage of compatibility packs and determines how to migrate to the new standard functionalities in SAP S/4HANA.
