The scope item 73P has been delivered as of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2402. Within the scope item, you can:

  1. Complete sales order data with the aid of system recommendations in the Manage Sales Orders - Version 2 app

  2. Monitor recommendation details and processing in sales orders using the Monitor Recommendations for Sales Document Completion app (F7515)

Note: SAP S/4HANA Cloud consumes the machine learning capabilities of the Data Attribute Recommendation service to predict sales document data.

Features

Complete Sales Order Data Based on Recommended Values

Currently the following sales order fields support recommendation:

Before using this feature, ensure that certain prerequisites are met. Then you can test the feature as follows:

  1. Open the Manage Sales Orders - Version 2 app.

  2. Create a sales order with at least one item.

    Note: The machine learning model is trained on sales order item level, so your sales order must contain at least one item.

  3. Click the "Incompleteness Info" button in the sales order header.

  4. Navigate to a target incomplete field from the message popover, or click on a target field to view the recommendations.

Monitor Recommendation Details and Processing in Sales Orders

You can view all sales orders with recommendations in the Monitor Recommendations for Sales Document Completion app (F7515).

Notes: Only the sales orders with recommendation which are created or changed after enabling this AI feature will be listed in this app.

You can choose the "Complete Document Data" button to navigate to the Manage Sales Orders - Version 2 app.

When you click on a hyperlink in the "With Recommendations" column, recommendation details are displayed in a popover:

You can choose a "Log" icon to display the completion log of the sales order:

A sales order field with recommendations can have the following statuses:

StatusCase
Acceptance PendingThis field has recommendations, and it is empty now.
Recommendation AcceptedOne of the recommended values has been manually selected.
Entered ManuallyA value other than the recommended values has been manually entered.

Model Inputs

To predict sales document data, the system takes recent 1 year historical sales document item data to train the model. And following fields are considered as the inputs of the model.

From Sales Document Header

  • Sales Document Type (SALESDOCUMENTTYPE)
  • Sales Organization (SALESORGANIZATION)
  • Distribution Channel (DISTRIBUTIONCHANNEL)
  • Division (ORGANIZATIONDIVISION)
  • Company Code to Be Billed (BILLINGCOMPANYCODE)
  • SD Document Currency (TRANSACTIONCURRENCY)
  • Creation Date (CREATIONDATE)

From Sales Document Item

  • Sales Document Item Category (SALESDOCUMENTITEMCATEGORY)
  • Product Number (PRODUCT)
  • Sold-to Party with its Country and Region
    • SOLDTOPARTY, SOLDTOPARTYCOUNTRY, SOLDTOPARTYREGION
  • Ship-to Party with its Country and Region
