Updates of SAP Activate for SAP S/HANA Cloud Public Edition in 2408
The SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (3-system landscape) implementation roadmap has been enhanced based on product management input, system functionality changes, and customer feedback. Below are the highlights for this release.
- Added a GROW Adoption Plan tag to help identify the tasks related to the GROW Adoption Plan.
- Added new task Activate SAP Build Entitlements to deliverable Initial System Access for SAP Business Technology Platform detailing how to activate the SAP Build entitlements that are a part of RISE & GROW packages.
- Added a new deliverable Full Value Adoption Plan and related task Create Full Value Adoption Plan to Explore phase. The new deliverable and task focus on the procedure to create a GROW adoption plan and maximize value.
- Added a new deliverable Multi-Country Approach and Plan and related task Develop the Multi-Country Plan to the Prepare phase. This adds the process of planning multi-country rollouts to the roadmap guidance. Updated the accelerator Cloud Multi-Country Rollout.pptx.
- Added a new task Establish the Center of Expertise to deliverable Project Initiation and Governance. This task is focused on the set up of the Center of Expertise.
- Updated the accelerator Quality Gate – S/4HANA Cloud in task Conduct Project Quality Gate to include GROW with SAP related questions.
- Updated accelerator BDC Questionnaire for Asset Management. Adapted the new structure in SAP Central Business Configuration Activity app. Added missing configuration activities. Corrected outdated solution process configuration ID with new ones. Introduced new “go live relevance” information with usage explanation in the template overview tab.
- Updated task Verify Initial Admin/Technical Administrator with new procedure steps. The updated guidance helps the user verify access to the SAP Universal ID Account Manager and ensure the right authorizations are assigned to the users.
- Updated Manage Transport, Configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and Continuous to Improve and Innovate tasks to introduce two Transport Modes options allowing customers to simplify their transport process. Added a new accelerator pointing to the help documentation on the options.
- Updated the release specific accelerators and links to reflect the 2408 content.

Updates of SAP Activate Methodology for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
The SAP Activate Methodology content for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition continues to be enhanced to help guide the customer through the journey of a new implementation or system conversion following the SAP Clean Core principles. There have been several updates to several topics such as Embedded Launch Activities, Clean Core Success Plan, System Conversion, SAP LeanIX, SAP Signavio and Solution Adoption in which customers and partners can benefit in the recent releases.
The content is available in the SAP Activate Roadmap Viewer and SAP Cloud ALM.
Key highlights include:
- In coordination with the Regional Implementation Group (RIG), several updates have been made in both the Explore and Realize phases in the roadmap pertaining to System Conversion.
- The Embedded Launch Activities (EmLA) in the Prepare phase. The launch of the EmLA is part of a renewed customer engagement model. This initiative aims to ensure a continuous, outcome-based relationship, emphasizing the rapid adoption of leading practices and value realization for customers.
- New and updated task list for the Clean Core Success Plan, including update to the existing Solution Standardization Board and inclusion of new templates: “Key Decision Document” and “SSB Deviation Tracker” templates.
- Significant effort has been dedicated to aligning the roadmap with SAP Signavio. Specific Signavio solutions such as Process Insight, Process Intelligence, Process Governance, etc., are highlighted in their respective tasks within the procedure notes.
- Efforts have also been made to ensure the roadmap aligns with SAP LeanIX. Several tasks from the Discovery Phase to the Run phase have been tagged with the LeanIX product tag to highlight the usage of LeanIX products to bring architecture transparency, define the to-be architecture landscape, and to help our customer prepare and montiro their Cloud ERP transformation.
- Solution Adoption Workstream updated with various improvements made to tasks and deliverables.
- The User Experience content has been updated both in tasks, procedure steps and notes.

Updates of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2-system landscape to 3-system landscape
Below are some of the most recent updates to the content based on learnings from first customer conversions as well as feedback from internal stakeholders and customer-like testing:
- Enhanced the description of the Manage Transports task in the Run phase with the simplified mode and updated links to documentation. Additionally, added further learning resources and a detailed blog post in the SAP Community (link).
- Updated accelerator Delta Features 2-system landscape to 3-system landscape for SAP Customers. You can access it on multiple tasks, including Attend Conversion Enablement Sessions (link).
- Updated the task Set Up Project Team Logistics and Infrastructure to include guidance for both on-site and hybrid project delivery (link).
- Added new SAP Community page dedicated to the conversion program and conversion resources to the Overview page and task Attend Conversion Enablement Sessions(link) in the Discover phase and Review Overview Documentation for Conversion task in the Prepare phase (link).
- Added new Customer Conversion Checklist accelerator to task Review Overview Documentation for Conversion (link).
- Updated resources and links in task Self-Enable on Extensibility in Prepare and Run phases to better enable users about the different extensibility options in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 3-system landscape (link in Prepare and link in Run phase).

The SAP Activate for SAP SuccessFactors roadmap has been enhanced based on product management input, system functionality changes, and customer feedback. Below are the highlights:
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Test Automation Tool 2408 Release
With the release of the version 2408 of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Test Automation Tool, Public Edition, we have successfully completed the planned delivery of features under the topic of “rock-solid customer extensions.” Key highlights of this release include:
- Users can now leverage the API Automation Framework to create automations for any Custom API’s created through Key User extensibility.
- ABAP Units were added as part of the Post Upgrade Tests (PUT) in the previous release. We now offer a dedicated ABAP Units tile in the Analyze Automated Test Results (AATR) app to enhance the visualization of errors and coverage statistics.
- The Intelligent Test Scope (i-TS) application now includes a feature that further streamlines the optimized scope using application area filters, allowing the selected scope to be pushed to the Manage Upgrade Tests (MUT) application.
