Localized Demo Databases Now Available for SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2011

We are glad to announce that the SAP Business One localized demo databases have been upgraded to the latest feature package 10.0 FP 2011, and are now available for download.

Along with the upgraded environment to release 10.0 FP 2011, we provide enhanced and recent transactional data to make your demos look fresh and tidy!

The localized demo databases contain a pre-configured SAP Business One environment. They are based on the model company OEC Computers and are offered for both the MS SQL version and the SAP HANA version of SAP Business One.

This overview is hosted on SAP Help Portal and can also be accessed by your customers on the SAP Business One 10.0 product page.

Easy Access to the Localized Demo Databases from the Upgrade Package

Until SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2102, the localized demo databases files were delivered with the installation package of SAP Business One. The upgrade package however did not contain these files, nor references to these.

Starting with SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2102, we will enhance the upgrade package and add a reference to the overview of localized demo databases under the component selection in the wizard, as highlighted in the following screenshots:

 

During upgrades, partners can then navigate directly to this overview and download the relevant demo database(s).

 

Future Updates

We will deliver another update of the localized demo databases for SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2102 via the overview of localized demo databases and plan to upgrade the localized demo database once a year thereafter.

Hi Pratik,

thank you for your interest. The localized demo DB with the enhanced and recent transactional data are only available as of SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2011. We don't provide them for lower Feature Packages.

I'm downloading the SBODEMOMX database to test it in a SAP B1 10 fp2102 environment. If I want a SBODEMOMX database for version 9.3 is it still available for download?

In SQL you can restore database, in hana you can rsetore the schema like indicate in sap note 2134959 - Schema Export and Import Guide for SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA

Hi Robson,

The localized demo databases contain a pre-configured SAP Business One environment that you can deploy to your SAP Business One installation. So the prerequisite is to have a B1 installation. Thereafter you can practice as you wish.

thanks for the usefull link and topic , I install SAP B1 version 10 with FP 2202 -when I try to download demo database I did not find version for MENA/SA - I try USA -UK international - in both databases Iam not able to open any thing with my liceinse -even I try to assign liciense the change button not active - can you advice which version suitable for MENA/SA

I've downloaded the Brazilian demo database (2102 and 2202) and I am getting an error when trying to restore it

SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: import failed: [30151] Object not found in the import directory;object=SK1::SBO_DEMOBR:TMP_TrailBalance_AcctLimiteden

 

Am I doing something wrong?
