Business ByDesign - Migration from SAP Intelligent RPA to SAP Build Process Automation

Dear Community,

In upcoming releases, we will introduce a streamlined process to upgrade an existing Intelligent RPA tenant into a Build Process Automation tenant with just a few steps. This means you won’t need to export and import projects between tenants, nor redeploy, create triggers, register agents, and perform other manual tasks.

Below steps are required to transform an Intelligent RPA tenant to a Build Process Automation tenant.

Pre-requisites

To ensure a smooth and effortless migration, we provide in-place migration capabilities. However, certain requirements must be met to prevent data loss and incomplete transformations.

Steps to be followed - Click on "Enable migration" 

Connect IRPA Factory. A new tile should be displayed.
The button "Enable Migration" would be shown. Click and a confirmation is required.

Note

• The following actions must be completed by 5th Dec 2025

• Impact if the migration flag is not enabled:
  We will enforce the migration flag during the 2602 upgrade.

• If Intelligent RPA is already enabled but not actively used, you have two options:

  • Descope the feature from Business Configuration
  • Enable Migration
