Returning again to my series on service management configuration, I'm still talking about the Completion Confirmation processes.  This piece of configuration is a piece I have never personally used.  the Parallelized Confirmation Processes is an option that can be used to do confirmations in mass.  Let me show you the basics.

Here's where to find this in configuration.

Once you get into the configuration, you'll see just a few fields to populate.

No. WP. =  Maximum # of work processes that can be used.  This is for the RFC spreading technique.  If it's not populated, it means there is no limit.

Logon/server group = Allows you to select a specific instance or server group that the RFC should use.

Item = Maximum portion size.  In essence, this is the group size for things like Posting goods movements, cost determination, etc..

That's really, all there is to it.  If you're looking to do confirmation through an interface or RFC, you'll want to look at this configuration.  Otherwise, this is likely a step you'll never need to play with.
