Overview

Now a days Open text is getting popular among clients due to its wide adaptability. It provides various products like Content Suite, Extended ECM, Documentum, Business Network, Document server, AI solutions to support enterprise applications.

Open text is a great add on tool to use as a content repository. Since it processes the documents in real time without any interface, the impact on CPU is very minimal which ultimately improves the overall system performances and stability. Whereas using SAP's internal DB to store documents can result in performance issues over a certain period of time since it occupies memory in the storage.
