I have been using business one for a few years now. One thing that shocked me was when our retail store customer required us to send invoices by EDI Business one does not have that as a feature. But I remember that most small business don't have the expertise to handle EDI in house so the consultant route is the best option. Me being a tech person manage to get a semi automatic process working with the EDI provider we used to have. But with the growing need to have all the documentation from being transmitted electronically the need for a fully integrated solution is needed. I found a provider and due to running a old machine it was not possible but with the new software and hardware it took only a few days and we got a solution that cut down on data entry and minimizes mistakes. Now in hindsight I should installed EDI with this flexible and stable platform years ago.
