Setting up Trial SAP Datasphere Account with Trial SAP SAC Live Connection

Prerequisites:-

  • Create your SAP Datasphere account and SAP Analytics account using your personal or business email.
  • Create a space for your projects and add users in Datasphere.
  • Keep the space name and tenant host link handy.

Now, click on Product Switch and jump to SAP Analytics Cloud:

You will be jumped into the SAP Analytics Cloud home page:

Go to the Connection tab to create a live connection with your Datasphere account to readily use the data and build innovative and beautiful dashboards.

Click on New Connection and select SAP Datasphere:

1. Now copy the space name in Datasphere as a name, and you can enter any description of your choice (free text).

2. Under the Connection Details section, enter the tenant details we have in the first step (highlighted till) without https:// and HTTPS Post as '443' by default.

3. Authentication  Method as SAML Single Sign on and click Ok

Now your connection will be created and you can find it in Connections .

In this way we can test the connection between Trail SAP Datasphere and Trail SAP Analytics Cloud and have a user experience.

By creating a live connection of SAP Datasphere tenant with SAC, we can build stories directly against the data that is modeled in SAP Datasphere. Live connections between SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere can be established across tenants and data centers.
