Abstract:
The journey to become an agile, sustainable, and resilient enterprise requires transformation. Yet, transformation is oftentimes hard and disruptive for companies, due to uncertainties, shortages in resources, and difficulties to align stakeholders from business and IT. That’s where SAP’s business transformation offering steps in. We support organizations in their transformation journey along four dimensions: Processes, Applications, Data, and People. Our end-to-end holistic approach sets the standard for transformation from the moment visibility is established to operating the enterprise at a higher level.
SAP Signavio and LeanIX, two market leaders in their categories, work together to enable an end-to-end, data-driven transformation approach and unlock value in ways that no other single solution can.
For LeanIX, this means continuing our mission to support CIOs and Enterprise Architects in driving the modernization of their IT landscape. Specifically, we enable them to create transparency and to visualize, evaluate and manage the transition to their target IT architecture. Consequently, in 2024, we will extend our core EA capabilities, while improving our integration into SAP’s ecosystem, for example, for automated discovery of SAP systems, as well as leveraging SAP’s latest Business AI capabilities in our Enterprise Architecture solution.

We started the session with a video by Rouven Morato (General Manager - SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX) sharing his insights on why SAP acquired LeanIX.
Andre Christ shared LeanIX's methodology for expediting business transformation via robust Enterprise Architecture (EA) management. By emphasizing the synergistic integration of applications, processes, data, and personnel, he highlighted LeanIX's pivotal contribution to strategic execution within the SAP ecosystem.
