Hello Sandra, hello Peter,

I have the following additional questions for your presentation and about the "future" of ADS - background of my questions is that we use an ADS System on premise based on JAVA Netweaver:

  • For an S/4 2023 system ADS runs on S/4 HANA JAVA? is this the right understanding?
    is "S/4 HANA JAVA" "only" a new branding for "Netweaver JAVA AS"? Or is this an other new solution?
  • The solution with XSA will be available with S/4 2025, but inside the support timetable for S/4 2025 - Mr. Paulus from SAP SE say's perhaps in 2026 (DSAG Blog).
    is the solution for ADS on XSA free from additional licensing costs?
  • Where can I find official informations (SAP notes, official SAP pages) for more informations?
    (question: is a DSAG Blog or a community blog official?)

Hello Peter, Hello Sandra,

Does the use of Cloud ADS under RISE with SAP not pose a Data Compliance issue for clients in sensitive industries (Finances, Defense, Security, ...)?

By default, a RISE with SAP contract comes with a preconfigured ADS tenant that does NOT belong to the client's BTP Global Account. Thus, all forms need to be sent out of the Corporate Network of the client to receive a PDF as a response. That means, that highly sensitive information that resides within the S/4HANA Private Cloud instance, like a Sales Order, are sent outside the Corporate Network just for printing.

Could you please elaborate if my understanding is wrong?

Hello Sandra/Peter,

Thank you for today's session. Could you please help me with the following questions:

  • For the Public Edition, do I absolutely need a subscription to the Adobe Service on SAP BTP if I want to create a custom form (not a copy of the standard one)?

  • Is it possible to implement an Adobe form from a custom action button in a RAP application in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud?
