Release old transports in Production

Hi guys,

I have a question. We are going to upgrade our Production S/4HANA system. Now, I found there are many unreleased transports in our Production S/4HANA. Those are old transports.

Can I release those transports? Is there any negative impact? We want to release those to clean-up and avoid data extraction prompt during the upgrade.

Hi Philip,

Yes, you have to release the old unused transport request which is not required to import any of them. you are right during the upgrade process it will check unreleased change request.
