SUSE Command to change Server hostname

Hello Experts,

Please i need help, we have a server machine running on SUSE OS which SAP S/4HANA is installed. i need a help to the command on how to change Host name and as well Fully Qualify domain name "FQDN" . I will be glad if anyone can assist me on this.

Hello Kanayochukwu,

What is the version of SUSE you are using?

Try to login as 'root', execute the command 'yast', then go to 'System' (on the left) -> 'Network settings' (on the right) and switch to the 'hostname' tab (ALT + S).

But also keep in mind the SAP Notes sent by S Sriram.
