SGEN Exclude all include and non -existent programs issue

Hello,

I need help regarding t code SGEN.

When we tried to execute the transaction it got stuck at the
point " Exclude all include and non -existent programs " and gets
terminated with a TIME_OUT error

We have a feeling that
it's something to do with SQL Server buffer size but not sure what's the exact cause
of the issue.

Thanks,

Aju Abraham

Hi,

Actually, ST22 points to parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time, which in your system is  600 secs (that is the default value SAP assigns).

You could try to increase it (RZ10), restart the system after saving the profile and try again.

this is a dynamic parameter, which means you can change it in RZ11 and the change is immediately valid

Hi Abraham

Could you restart the SAP system and then try for transaction code SGEN once again?

Thanks
