I was running maintenance planner and confuse on what to choose between the 2.

NW AS ABAP 7.52

NW AS ABAP 7.51 INNOVATION PKG

Our current product is NW AS ABAP 7.51 INNOVATION PKG

What is the difference between this 2?

Hello Philip,

If you keep using NW AS ABAP 7.51, then you will perform a support package update.

If you choose NW AS ABAP 7.52, then this is more similar to a system upgrade, as you will be changing the release of the NetWeaver layer, and many more changes might be introduced in the system behavior if compared to the support package update. You might also get new features :-).

Yes, we could say that. You cannot have both versions at the same system, at the same time.
