is it possible to Access SAP Web GUI with Router String

Hi

we are using SAP Router String to access our SAP servers from outside the network using SAP GUI

is it possible to use web GUI with Router string ?

if it is possible please advise about the link how it should be

Hi Yaso,

This might be possible, but it's not technically a supported scenario with SAProuter. SAProuter is really intended for proxying SAPGUI connections, and/or for providing a proxy for SAP's own remote support (though of course they are able to make http connections through it, so it is technically possible).

You might want to investigate SAP Web Dispatcher instead. This is the purpose of the Web Dispatcher, and it has a great deal more functionality and manageability than SAProuter. Of course, it's more complex to install and configure, but it's not really all that difficult.
