UDF modelling not constant

Hey folks,

I gave UDF some test-data, where the same product was selled 15 times everyday over two years.

The modell calculated by UDF suggested a strictly decreasing straight lineas demand, which ended up near zero.

The time weight is 1, so UDF should not rank sells more in the past lower.

So, my question is:
Why does UDF not calculate a constant demand, if all my data over two years is constant?

Sincerely,
Domenic

Hi,

Are other demand influencing factors are steady as well?

Hey,

actually I turned down almost every DIF at the time of my question. I just realized that afterwards.
Now, it works as "usual".

But, what happens if I turn off all DIFs? Shouldn´t the forecast be a straight line, which should strictly monoton increase, when the data do so? Is there a documentation about the standard DIFs?

Sincerely,
Domenic
