Is it feasible to send batch and serial no. in the articles payload to CCOM - CCO from S4?
Based on that a control needs to be put in CCO to avoid wrong Serial/batch entries.

The SOAP interface provided by The S/4 system does not provide in the payload if the article is managed or not by batch/serial number. So, the CCO manager doesn't receive this information from the S4 system.
Manually, in the CCO manager under the Articles app, you have the possibility to inform if the article is managed by batch or serial number.
Then, in the CCO when selling an article managed by batch or serial number, the system will open a pop-up to enter the batch/serial number.
Currently, the system doesn't provide a search to check the batch or serial numbers available in the S/4 system.
So, the cashier can inform any information for the batch/serial number.
