Price update problems in Customer Checkout

0 Kudos

Dear Community

Today we are implementing some CCO projects and they are connected to B1. We have noticed that in CCO tests it works well in the part of synchronizing articles and their prices, perhaps because the use of the POS is less. However, in different projects we have noticed that when the project is already in production and the client changes the prices of some items in B1 in CCO, these updates are not reflected.

So we have to update some property of the item manually or by DTW, so that CCO detects the new price.

This is not functional since if the client does not realize that the prices are not up to date, sales will always fall short.

Could you tell me how to solve it please or why this happens?.

NOTE: With all versions of CCO this has happened to us and the synchronization of articles is done correctly.

Dear Monserrat,

After changing the price of the item in the SAP B1, was the article synchronization performed in the CCO?
Is the article synchronization configured to be executed in a recurring mode? If yes, which type is used? Hourly, Daily, weekly, monthly?

What is the version (FP and PL) of the SAP Customer Checkout?
What is the version of the SAP B1?
What is the version of the B1if Customer Checkout scenarios?
Is there any error in the CCO log files?

Anderson

Hello Mr. Anderson.

We configured a recurring synchronization using the expression CRON per minute. We can't have it in an hourly/weekly/monthly schedule, because the products they handle are essential, so they tend to make lot of sales per day. That is why the need to update the items as soon as the price list is changed.

SAP Customer Checkout version is 2.0 FP13 PL01

SAP B1 version is SAP Business One version 10.0 for SAP HANA (10.00.180) FP 2111

B1if Customer Checkout scenarios version is 4.0.44

Item synchronization succeeds

Hi Monserrat,

So, the article synchronization is executed every minute. If the price of the item is changed, The CCO should fetch the new price in the next article synchronization.
How many CCO are integrated with the SAP B1?
Is there any other synchronization scheduled to be executed in the CCO?

Anderson

Hi, Mr Anderson.

Exactly, if the price of the item in CCO is changed, this update must be obtained.

We have 36 points of sale connected with SAP B1 and 12 more will be integrated soon, it is for this reason that we need to solve this problem in CCO.

We have programmed the synchronization of clients, receipts, discounts, users and gift cards. they all have the same execution time due to the operations and the volume of sales they make.

Hi Monserrat,

In one CCO try the following steps and check the results, please.

1 - Cancel all other synchronizations like customers, receipts, discounts, user, etc.. and keep only the article synchronization;
2 - Change the price of an item in the SAP B1 and save it;
3 - Wait some minutes and check if the price is updated in the CCO

Let me know with the results, please.

Regards,
Anderson
