Hi Expert, may I know what are the difference between these 4. I only found the meaning for External Inbound -> Sales Orders can be created from external system and modification can be done from C4C system only.

I'm getting error Changing data not possible; data is read-only. I suspect it is due to my document ID being configured as Internal & External. Does my understanding right? Is it possible to change data using Internal & External? Thank you

{"code":"ODATA_ERROR","message":"Error occurred during processing","severity":"error","target":"","details":[{"code":"AP_ESI_COMMON:107","message":"Changing data not possible; data is read-only","target":"","severity":"error"}]}

Hi Allysa,

The issue may not caused by the option in the screenshot. I found a snippet from the internal search engine:

  • This error Changing data not possible; data is read-only occurs when an Add-On is trying to modify an attribute (which could be an extension field) when the status of the document (e.g. posted, paid, canceled, in approval) does not allow any change on it.

So, could you please check if you are trying to modify the restricted data?

Besides, did other options work?

Kind regards,
Alan

Hi Alan!

Thanks for the reply!

I intend to change the price on SAP Sales Cloud. It needs to accept price from external party. Hence, I tried to change the net amount field but seems like it is restricted data. Do you know how am I able to enable the price on sales cloud to accept price from external party?

Thank you!
