I have many contacts to insert on C4C and tried to import using Data Migration, but this works only for customers that never has been imported on C4C.
If I try to upload contacts using the XML, C4C always tells me that the customer ID already exists.
Is there a way to import many contacts to my customers or I have to manually insert each one?

I followed these steps, and C4C is telling me this functionality now exists in Mass Data Maintenance. Is that correct? If so, I want to add NEW Contacts to C4C to existing Accounts. However, when I do I receive an error message stating an invalid Contact ID. I left this field blank b/c the Contact does not yet exist, so how can I add a Contact ID number to a Contact that does not yet exist in C4C?
Hi Rich,
You should use the SAP C4C Data Migration tool with enhance option to insert the additional contacts. In Mass Data maintenance, it is require the contact person ID to update them and we need to insert them.
SAP has given the option to start the data migration tool with some URL after the go live. You should use the following URL to start the tool:
Accounts and Contacts | https://myNNNNNN.crm.ondemand.com/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/dmc_ap_overview?category=7 |
Replace NNNNNN with your tenant number.
*Note: SAP uses the contact person internal number range
