Adding restrictions to Ticket list by Business Unit

Hi All,

I'd like to know if there's a way for an administrator to restrict what a user sees on the ticket list screen by business unit when selecting "All Tickets".

Requirement/EG: If the user is from South Africa, they should only be able to see tickets from South Africa when selecting "All Tickets". If the user is from Botswana, they should only see Botswana tickets when selecting "All Tickets".

Hi Karabo,

If your users from different locations/ business units have different business roles, then you could create saved queries for the distinct page layouts tied to the distinct business roles and set them to default.

Since the All Tickets is a standard query, you won't be able to modify that. However you should be able to create your own saved query based on the All Tickets one.

I'm not quite sure if there is any other way to achieve this unless you are open to writing some sdk code. Then it might be possible.

Thank you for the answer.

The users from the different business units all use the sales consultant business role, so the page layout method does not apply in this case, however, the SDK option may be something to look into, I'll reach out to one of our developers and raise this as an option.
