SMC - SMS Integration - Collect Delivery status

Hi,

We are trying to collect the delivery status from SAP DI to SMC, but it is not successfull.

We have used SCPI as middleware to collect the status and process to SMC.

Problems:
1. SMC Messageid is not same as Orderid at SAPDI
2. Without messageid cant post the data SMC, hence doing lookup for contactid to SMC
3. I tried to follow integration suggested in SCN Blog(https://blogs.sap.com/2018/07/23/sap-marketing-cloud-connect-any-text-message-service-provider-to-sap-marketing-cloud-chapter-2-get-bounces/) but not sure how /status URI will work with SMC.

If someone had done this integration with SAPDI/Sinch please help me on this.

Hi Bhaskar,

SINCH can add campaign ID information to the delivery reports which they generate on a daily basis. With the help of Campaign ID and Customer ID which was part of communication, I hope you can create interactions - SMS_DELIVERED, SMS_FALIED etc..

Hi Deepu,

Thank you for your inputs. But in my landscape contactid=mobileid is not unique, hence for the same mobile number, there can be the possibility of duplicate contacts in the same campaign. So I need an alternate solution.

I believe there is no alternative solution as you expect.

You should add filters(such as Mobile No, Campaign, Interaction Type) in the Query to find the correct interaction in the Bounce scenario.

Please remember we are not identifying the Contact here instead the Interaction. Unless you have defined a custom Bounce process against the standard SAP.
