hi all,
i am working in a scenario, where i have two organization structure and i want to assign a number range (BP number) to both the stru. is it possible to assign seperate number range to each org stru.? if yes how?

There is a crude way by which you can achieve this.
1.Use tcode snro
2.Enter object BU_PARTNER and then "interval"
3. Check the current no. for the no. range e.g. Z1, Z2, etc. which you are using (this is th BP no. of the last org unit generated).
4. Before you want to generate a different BP no. for your org unit, change this current no. to 1 less than the no. you want to generate.
For e.g. if you want to generate no. 500, set this no. to 499.
But before that you should be careful and ensure that this no. has not been used before, or else it will lead to errors.
5. Now, you create your org unit. This will have the BP no. which you want.

Thanks Animesh,
I think this will workout while creating a two organization unit and while saving I can do the settings told by u. but i want to define a no range so that any changes (addition of org unit) will pick up the bp number from the respective defined no range
please tell me if this is possible?

Shaik
