local.properties: Escape hash (#) character

Hello,

I am trying to store an entry in local.properties whose value contains a hash character. I have noticed that hybris only reads the value up to the hash, discarding the hash and whatever comes afterwards. That is, if I try to write the follwing:

 property.value=hybris#value

the value displayed by the hAC console will be hybris, not hybris#value as expected. I have tried surrounding the value with single and double quotes,

 property.value="hybris#value"

which results in the value "hybris (same applies to single quotes). I have tried to escape the hash with one slash

 property.value=hybris\#value

and replace the hash with its unicode representation

 property.value=hybris\u0023value

all to no avail.

Is there any way I can store a property's value in local.properties if that value contains a hash character?
