Hello,
Is there any API documentation to CCO Terminals? Is it possible to upload exchange rates via API Integration to each terminal?
Hello rosscawood ,
There is no API exposed on the CCO terminals itself. And on CCOM there is no centralized exchange rate management (yet).
For our customers we have set up an exchange rate management backend (as part of our localization for the Dominican Republic), and then update the CCO exchange rates from a plugin job that is scheduled according to each customer's needs.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Joerg.

Hello rosscawood ,
It is not SAP standard, it is something we have developed as a small part of our broader localization requirements.
I guess the need for us was greater, since in developing countries, like the Dominican Republic, it is much more common to have retail operations involving foreign currencies. Some of our customers change rates weekly, in some cases they might even change by day.
I know centralized configuration management for CCO is a big topic, and I'm pretty sure they will cover exchange rates within that scope, as well. However, I have no knowledge about when such functionality might be expected natively.
Best regards,
Joerg.
Dear Joerg, nice to find you here !
Please can you explain how do you write Exchange Rates in CCO ?
As far I know there are no API to update them, so I suppose the only way is to update the table directly in the CCO DB.
Is It correct ?
I find very courious as SAP can mentions in their references 1200+ CCO FrontEnd at Expo Dubai and they do not provide any centralized handling of Echange Rates...how they can approach that particular situation ?? 🙂
Kind regards,
F.
